揭秘！一場“昆城”與“希臘”的美妙邂逅

希臘是令人向往的精神王國，古希臘文化作為古典文化的代表，在西方乃至全世界都占有著重要的地位，希臘語堪稱西方文明第一種偉大的語言,許多人認(rèn)為它是所有語言中最有效、最值得敬佩的交際工具。

Greece is a desirable spiritual kingdom. As a representative of classical culture, ancient Greek culture has an important position in the West and the world.Greek is known to be the first great language of Western civilization. It is also widely acknowledged as the most effective and admirable communication tool in all languages.

帶著培育具有“中國靈魂，世界眼光”國際化人才的辦學(xué)理念，2018年11月14日，蘇州外國語學(xué)校昆山校區(qū)江國法校長、常軍副校長與希臘駐上海館總領(lǐng)事Vassilis Xiros先生展開親切會晤。就在蘇外昆山校區(qū)開設(shè)希臘語、引進(jìn)希臘國家課程等文化交流話題進(jìn)行友好熱情的溝通。

On Nov. 14th, 2018, under the introduction of Ms. TONG from Suzhou Golden Sunshine, Principal JIANG Guofa and vice Principal CHANG Jun from Suzhou Foreign Language School Kunshan Campus had a meeting with Mr. Vassilis Xiros (Chinesename:XILuoshi),Consul-General of Consulate General of Greece in Shanghai. We started the discussion about culture exchange, including developing Hellenic language and Hellenic state courses in Kunshan Campus.

感謝Vassilis Xiros先生（中文名：習(xí)落實）對與我校開展推動希臘語課程的認(rèn)可和希冀，同時在與Xiros先生的溝通中，也讓我們深刻的感受到了他與中國的深厚淵源。

We appreciate Mr. Vassilis Xiros (Chinese name: XI Luoshi) for his recognition and expectation to develop Greek language at our campus and the further communication with him reminds us of connecting his origin and tales with China.

1997年阿爾巴尼亞發(fā)生了一場因集資引發(fā)的動亂，中國駐阿使館立即組織撤僑任務(wù)。在中方的求助下，希臘國防部很快派來三艘軍艦接應(yīng)中國公民撤離至希臘科孚島。負(fù)責(zé)協(xié)調(diào)和協(xié)調(diào)工作的就是希臘駐阿爾巴尼亞武官Alexandros Xiros，這正是Vassilis Xiros先生的父親。甚至親自駕車護(hù)送，與中國公民一同經(jīng)歷了從地拉那前往都拉斯海港的驚心動魄之旅。

The destiny and profound friendship between Mr. Xiros’s family and Chinese people comes from an experience 20 years ago. In 1997, a domestic crisis arising from fundraising happened in Albania. Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in The Republic of Albania immediately organized to evacuate the overseas Chinese. With the appeal of our party, Ministry of Defense of Greece dispatched 3 warships soon to coordinate Chinese citizens to evacuate to Corfu Island in Greece. The person coordinated with our embassy in Albania in evacuating overseas Chinese is Defence Attaché (Alexandros Xiros), and he is Mr. XI Luoshi’s father. At that time, Alexandros Xiros was in charge of scheming and coordination work of Greece Party in the evacuation overseas Chinese mission. On that day, Mr. Alexandros Xiros drove a car in person to escort our motorcade from Tirana to Turas Harbor.

受父親的影響，Vassilis Xiros先生在之后的成長過程中一直對中國產(chǎn)生濃厚的興趣，并密切關(guān)注中國的發(fā)展。他表示，中國和希臘一樣都擁有悠久的歷史和燦爛的文明。中國更是在世界歷史中扮演著十分重要的角色，是當(dāng)今世界上領(lǐng)先的經(jīng)濟(jì)大國之一。所以在2015年被任命為希臘駐上海總領(lǐng)事之后。他利用工作之余閱讀更多的中國書籍，了解當(dāng)代中國的進(jìn)展，同時擠出時間來提高中文水平。

Influenced by his father, Mr. XI Luoshi has always attached a lot attention to the development of China during his grow-up. At the beginning, he was more interested in ancient China and read some books about Chinese history. Mr. XI Luoshi says China plays a very important role in world and now China is one of the most leading economic giants in the world.

Since Mr. XI Luoshi was appointed as Consul-General of Consulate General of Greece in Shanghai in 2015, he has also generated interests in modern history of China. He says after coming to China, he hopes to make use of after-work time to read more Chinese books to know the development of contemporary China and at the same time squeeze time to improve Chinese language.

作為一所全球劍橋?qū)W校，也是一所外國語學(xué)校，蘇外昆山校區(qū)十分注重學(xué)生第二外語的學(xué)習(xí)。本次會談中校方所提及的引入希臘國家課程、開設(shè)希臘語，尤其是在推動國家層面希臘語教師的派遣上、與希臘教育部牽線溝通等方面都得到了Vassilis Xiros先生的大力支持。在希臘語等級水平考試等方面，我們推動牽手上海外國語大學(xué)（官方希臘語考點），展開共同合作配合。最后，習(xí)落實先生也愉快地接受了我們的邀請，近期來蘇州外國語學(xué)校進(jìn)行訪問，也是推動希臘語在校園的開展，讓我們拭目以待。

As a global Cambridge and international school, Suzhou Foreign Language School Kunshan Capmus attached great attention to students’ learning of second language. Today we have friendly and passionate communication on topics like establishing Hellenic language in Suzhou Foreign Language School Kunshan Capmus and introducing Hellenic state courses. Mr. XI Luoshi gives us strong support especially in dispatching Hellenic language teachers and communicating and combining with Hellenic Ministry of Education. In Hellenic Language Level Test, Mr. XI Luoshi promotes to our cooperation with Shanghai International Studies University (Official Hellenic Testing Center). At the same time, Mr. XI Luoshi happily accept our invitation to visit Suzhou Foreign Language School at his available time to promote the launching of Hellenic language in our campus.
